Steve-Yours is an interesting stream of thought to step into. But, let me say- the Motto "There is no Religion Higher Than Truth" was intended, and is still intended to mean that the Truth is higher than any religion. True theosophy (not Theosophy with a capital "T") is simply a word implying original synthesis or a basis.
Those movements using the word theosophy have all been doomed to failure. Not because of the name but because of people. We are and always will be on our own as individuals to put to the test what we think is the truth.
Therefore, condemning movements or organizations for failure in this regard is a waste of time, and says more about the motive of the prosecutor than the prosecuted.
You are obviously correct to discriminate for your own involvement. But what is the purpose of doing it openly on a site dedicated to theosophy? Are you hoping to 'wake people up" so that they might leave theosophy? It is not a thing which (by definition) can be left, since it must apply to every endeavor of human involvement.
Just some thoughts of mine. What do you think?-Steve L.

I suspect what you do not like is that not everyone is a monarchist.
I do not share your view, but I do support your right to assert it.
In fact, I LIKE you doing so. Vigorous and spirited discussion is
the mark of a healthy society.
As for the motto, that was the Maharajah of Benares' motto, the
person whom I suspect, perhaps incorrectly, of being the real person
behind the moniker "Morya." It should be said, to keep this in
perspective, that Blavatsky frankly stated that many of her
statements were untruths (blinds, deliberately misleading, etc.) Why
she or her masters would have chosen to do that is a mystery to me,
but on the terms of the motto Thesosophy is not the highest religion.
