Thoa's Light

Dear Thoa and all:
Thoa, your posts to Eldon and Paul were powerful in both facts and emotion.
Your words inspired and uplifted me; restored my faith in what humans can
think and do. I understand why some people are cautious - but, again, you
responded with words of wisdom. Paul, too, is a dear friend of mine, and I
know him to be compassionate individual; however, his post did need such an
addressing. Eldon's referring to Alan's plight as a "drama" was yet another
insult piled on top of many.
Paul, please reconsider leaving the list - we need your balance and
knowledge and, yes, your compassion.
To all: I think Alan's posting of his difficulties was one of the best
things that could have happened to this list - with the exception of Alan
himself. Maybe some of us learned a bit more about ourselves - if we can
look deeply enough within and discover whether or not we truly believe that
we are ONE and whether or not we really want to LIVE COMPASSIONATELY. And
Thoa is right - it does not take money to live compassionately - only love.
Some of us on this list appear not to want to give of either one.
I sent love (and money) to Alan knowing that what goes around comes around.
(This, in itself, is still a selfish thought - I've yet to get to the point
where I can give for the mere sake of giving) Sure, I doubted and wondered,
even though I know Alan - this is a natural human response. But the more I
thought about it - it being "fear" - the more I knew that whatever I give -
be it money, love, friendship, time - it will always come back to me. .
.often in greater abundance. Nothing is ever "lost."
Truth really is that simple.
