      Although much of what you said in #281 is true and
genuine "Theosophy"  (or any ....... that believes in
compassion and altruism) and what the world needs more
of  -  I think you go too far,  and    I suggest you go out
and make real good friends with a crack addict  - which
will be a mighty lesson on the limitations of compassion
and practicality  while living in a world we don't control.
Personally, I'm a bit jaded on compassion.
