Jaded on compassion? Sad, that. I had a friend once who was a herion
addict. He was so far gone they gave him two years to live. I stayed
his friend, and listened to his troubles. He died in less than the allotted
time. I'm glad I was there for him, not jaded.
This is a theosophy list. When *do* we start to see more of the real
thing? I'm not jaded, Jake, and I give small sums to beggars on our
streets from time to time. Maybe they buy smack with it - all I know
about them is that no one begs on the street unless they are desperate.
