Dear Morten, 

I don't know if I fully understand your question. It is now known 
that intelligence community and still more secret agencies around the 
world ran several secret projects on these topics and that findings 
were and are amply used in various fields mainly to present to the 
people a reality they want that people see. You can not expect that 
they will come forward saying: We are fooling you!
