Re: Theos-World A Queer Theosophical Question

Jake,

Thank you for being upfront in declaring that this post is your personal opinion. I will say that you and I do not hold the same opinion and probably will be unable to reach much agreement in this lifetime. A militant, whether gay or celibate, is still a militant. Hatred, whether aimed at Leadbeater or Osama bin Ladin is still hatred. You say, "People become irrational when a "hot-spot" is poked. We all have them. Some psychological complex where we are vulnerable and out of harmony with ourselves and nature, and when it is "poked" we feel raped."
I think fear, disgust, or hatred of homosexuality or perhaps even anysexuality may be the vulnerable "hot-spot" that causes some people to become irrational and out of harmony with their theosophical nature.
I do not believe that Theosophy is something that one can "join" -- sick or not sick. Theosophy is the divine wisdom within each and every one of us. It is accessible by Each and every one without regard to race, creed, or sexual orientation.

My hope is that we will look for the light of divine wisdom within and let that be our guide.

peace,

bill
