I have not seen the original. I am not an expert in dating or "tampering,"
but what have any experts said on this ? Have any been consulted ?

Does the validity of the Theosophical philosophy and its legitimacy hinge,
fall or rise, based on this alone? 

It does have some significance in the sheaf of Judge Case documents, and I
think Pelletier has a legitimate right in pointing to it. 

What do you think of Judge's writings taken as a body, and illustrative of
an individuals' attitude and continuity of character? Place that in the
balance also. 

Look at the vagueness of the "Judge Case" accusations proffered by Annie
Besant -- no logic, no documents, only one's say-so, etc... Basil Crump made
short work of those as a barrister. Her inconsistency and incoherence
alone, defeat her.

I can't see how the alleged tampering was accomplished
in LIGHT of the above reproductions that I have
provided.

Ernest Pelletier was apparently not interested enough
to write to me and throw any additional light on the
matter.

What do the two of you think?
