Hallo Peter and all,

My views are:

Thanks.

I have been reading theosophical books for more than 25 years now. No surprise there.
When you have read all of Bailey's books you will understand that her use of vocabulary
is heavily filled with a Christian terminology or words. This attracts a certain audience, and the
results are shown today by the many Seekers which are attracted to the
various Bailey groups around the globe.
There is a negative aspect to all this.
The conflict between the present day western countries
and the Middle Eastern ones has not been taken into account
in a theosophical manner Alice A. Bailey's writitngs.
That is why I often recommend some Seekers to consider the writings by
Idries Shah - and to familiarize themselves with Blavatsky's
teachings on Senzar - the Mystery Language - and what is known as
"he Seven Keys".

We know, that the pro-Bailey groups ar heavily involved at the United Nations.
The problem between Bailey's writings and the present day
situation in Iraq is most clearly shown by the following statement.

Especially because Bailey's book
"Esoteric Psychology", vol. 1, page 167
makes Mohammedanism into something bad.

Here is the exceprt again:
"...note chat this movement was started by a secret society which has [167]
existed in the world since the last period of seventh ray dominance in
Atlantean times.
Every great religion which arises is under the influence of one or other of
the rays, but it does not necessarily follow that each successive ray should
have a great far-reaching religion as its outcome. We have heard that
Brahmanism is the last great religion which arose under first ray influence;
we do not know what may have been the religion which was the outcome of the
last second ray period; but the Chaldean, the Egyptian and the Zoroastrian
religions may be taken as representing the third, the fourth, and the fifth
rays respectively. Christianity and probably Buddhism were the result of
sixth ray influence. Mohammedanism, which numbers so large a following, is
also under sixth ray influence, but it is not a great root religion, being a
hybrid offshoot of Christianity with the tinge of Judaism."

Thankyou for all that.
I am aware of the mistake in Jung'sfirst name, but love
to be reminded as it shows that the website has been read.
It is many years since I read Ouspensky, and so you
are probably right.

I am impressed by the statement that you have read the
Treatise On Cosmic Fire many times.I struggled with it
just once. The section on the Devic Kingdom does not
get the recognition which it should have.

I never found any bias to Christianity in AB's works, but
then I only have four them.

Regards speculation as to the sex of the next and final
Great Avatar; I was told that the male form is more
suited for this as a representative of the Positive.
Also, that it will be in the Full Aspects, and not as the 4th
as in previous cases. This means there will be no need to
enter by birth, and no need for a prologed education and
iniating process, but will arrive in the full power. The
prospect is quite awesome.
It is very seldom that the Cosmic Masters leave their
planetary base in all the Full Aspect.
I would love to be around when it happens.
Such beings are sexless, they are both male and female,
and there is a the Third factor which is neither.
