Allright here is my knowledge and my views:
Yes the aspects of buddhi-force on its path downwards compared with upwards
as we
ordinarily understands it. Even a Master is from time to time making a
"mistake" - although
the more ordinary human do most often not realise or grasp what is going on.
Certainly CWL made mistakes even clairvoyant ones. This we know to be facts.
Which Skhandas or vehicles are a Dugpa using if not among them the buddhi on
its downwards path?
CWL was not a real dugpa (because he also did good deeds) - but a struggling
disciple who was burdened with too much work and strain in his body. And
tested he was. The result was, that he made mistakes - but only so that he
later would avoid them.

Friend
But can Buddhi , the vehicle of pure universal spirit, have lower
aspects?... for it is the vehicle of Atma!

I will answer - Yes - to your second question. That is Both options - and
I
would say both his buddhi and kama-manas when being in their negative
aspects.

Friend Morten
What did you mean with the expression " Shadow " on ...."which beginners
read and when they do - they because of that
connects their minds with the authors mind (including his shadow), ?
Do you mean that CWL´s records printed the akasha or his kamarûpa?
Yes because his mind ( the lower manas) may still be linked with it in the
kamaloka, unless the masters have already destroyed it.

Hallo Bart and all,
My views:
On Steiner I would definitely say no, although he had some influence.
Bailey was not really an influential member when she got thrown out was
she?

My answer:
Perhaps. But, How do you know? -
One sign against this view is, that They havn't aborted promoting his
books
in TS. Books, which beginners read and when they do - they because of
that
connects their minds with the authors mind (including his shadow), and
sometimes the authors mind at the time he wrote the book they read.
It also depends on, what kind of position you are talking about.

How about Steiner and Bailey?
Has anyone ever personally contacted "high-ranking" TS Adyar or any
other
Theosophical branch or offshoot about their official position as of
TODAY
on
CWL's sex-activities as mentioned in the following link and elsewhere
