What did you mean with the expression " Shadow " on ...."which beginners read and when they do - they because of that 
connects their minds with the authors mind (including his shadow), ?
Do you mean that CWL´s records printed the akasha or his kamarûpa?
Yes because his mind ( the lower manas) may still be linked with it in the kamaloka, unless the masters have already destroyed it.

Bailey was not really an influential member when she got thrown out was she?

Perhaps. But, How do you know? -
One sign against this view is, that They havn't aborted promoting his books 
in TS. Books, which beginners read and when they do - they because of that 
connects their minds with the authors mind (including his shadow), and 
sometimes the authors mind at the time he wrote the book they read.
It also depends on, what kind of position you are talking about.
