Re: ETERNAL MOTION = KARMA

Dear Friends:

This is the most difficult explanation of all in metaphysics.

As Mandukya Upanishad offers: NETI --- NETI -- NETI (not this, not
that, not the other).

ETERNAL CEASELESS MOTION is not subject to "sleep," or
"unconsciousness."

In the SECRET DOCTRINE, Vol. 1, p. 27 (Sloka 8) we find it symbolized as
"the open EYE of the DANGMA (wise sages)."

IT EVER IS -- as a logical aspect of the ABSOLUTENESS.

We might call it the "CAUSELESS CAUSE."

It is the ETERNAL UNIVERSAL MIND, and is independent of any form or
substance. This is because all forms or substances on any "plane," from
"SPIRIT" down to "MATTER," are of necessity limited, and, are a "time
and space" portion of DURATION and META-SPACE, (which are indivisible
and eternal). It is also a logical aspect of the ABSOLUTE .

But, the ABSOLUTE, as ITSELF, is illimitable, timeless, indivisible, and
always WHOLE whether its parts or aspects are in or out of
manifestation.

It is the ROOTLESS ROOT. And it is the ENDLESS END.

All our similes pale and are diminished, since there is no way in which
we can make finite comparisons of the INFINITE, the TIMELESS, and the
INDIVISIBLE. Brahman and Atman are still only aspects of Manifested
Time and Space, or MANVANTARA.

Parabrahm, Paramatman, Pradhana, Paramapadha, Pamapadatmava, Paramartha,
Paramarthika, Paramarthasatya, Parampurusha, SAT-CHIT-ANANDA. Chit,
Chidakasam, are all expressions in metaphysical philosophy of the
transcendent -- that which is boundless in thought, time, motion and
space. Words cannot define IT. THEOSOPHICAL GLOSSARY p 249

That is as I see and understand it.

Best wishes,

Dallas

If Pralaya means un-movement, when *God* goes to sleep, so to speak,
where
is karma here? Etzion
