Dear Friend:

Noumena, Phenomena, Thinker and thoughts

This is all from our physical plane view. Are there not others ?

What is the "thinker?"

I though MANAS ( in its duality (according to theosophy) was the
THINKER. )

Libido I equate with Kama and "lust." Not very inspiring.

Memories, as I see it, are of 2 levels the movable and the immovable.

Noumena may be of another plane that the phenomenal.

How do you know telepathy is largely if not entirely related to Buddhi
? If, so, then why ?

If Buddhi is absolute purity then how could it convey libidinous
thoughts?

Best wishes,

Dal

<<<If there are mental images, then there has to be a thinker who
evolves
them.>>>

Dallas, the thinker is manas and manas does generate mental images or
concpetualizations. Manas takes images and interprets/converts them
into
thoughts. The thinker thinks and analyzes. Phenomena are inferred from
our
sensory data, and noumena are inferred from ideas and
conceptualizations. Maya
is the illusion that phenomena and noumena are different from the mind
that
perceives them.

<<<The thinker employs some force to design, frame and animate them,
what
would that be, and how would it be used ?>>>

Jung called it libido, and said that like any energy, it has to be
conserved.

<<<There have to be memories as well. >>>

Memories are the glue that forms a self. Memories are very subjective
and are
plastic.

<<<Are not noumena ( causes ) connected with "phenomena" (effects) on
various
planes, as the effects which choice and change bring about ?
Are not certain correlated "planes" also affected ?>>>

Some noumena may cause phenomena, but not most. I think a better
question
would be, Are phenomona and noumena located on different planes or are
they
the planes themselves.

<<<What would be so extraordinary as to find that individual Thinkers
are
inevitably all linked ?>>>

All members of the human life wave are in constant telepathic
communication,
but most filter this out so well that they are not aware of it. But
this
communication is through buddhi, not manas.

Maya is the illusion that there is any difference between the thinker
and his
thoughts.
