God is the universe. The Earth is a part of that universe. How God works or the laws which govern and run the universe are the same laws that inform and run humans, because humans were conceived from the earth and the earth is a part of God which is the universe. So everything from the universe and all the large things in the universe down to the smallest components that make up human beings are a part of God. Everything is run and informed from the same laws that are God. So science which studies the universe and the earth and everything human is studying the laws and getting to know God.
