Dear Friend:

If one takes the theosophical division of the principles of man
(as a basis for the consideration of the several bases which the
ONE CONSCIOUSNESS can use) we see:

1.	The SPIRITUAL -- which is defined as universal, impersonal,
virtuous (lawful), and the purest of the three, [ This includes
two separate divisions: the "Ray of the ONE SPIRIT" (Atma), and
BUDDHI or the accumulated wisdom of experience over an enormous
series of incarnations.]

2.	The PSYCHIC -- which is defined as the realm of thought and
emotions (desires and passions), and [ This includes MIND and
FEELING/EMOTION as two separate divisions

3.	The PHYSICAL -- which is defined as the instruments made up of
physical matter (supported by the astral-body's lattice work of
force centers) which form in their cooperative aggregate our
physical selves.

For spiritual ideals and thoughts to reach the physical
brain-mind, they have to pass through the PSYCHIC realm. There
they are greatly influenced by our "Desires and Passions."

Physical DRUGS act on the connection between the PSYCHIC and the
PHYSICAL. They may by their chemical constitution exert a
filtering effect on the intelligence connection between the
PSYCHIC and the PHYSICAL brain.

The effect of this is in many cases to alter, dull, or enhance
various effects that emanate in and from the Psychic on their way
to impressing the PHYSICAL matter of the Brain, and thus causing
inaccuracies or exaggerations.

The physical body in the normal course of its life during the day
eventually rejects the drug substances and restores the less
impaired connection between the two.

As such the original clear pathway unaffected by drugs restores
the full psychic mood -- one of feeling, desire, (either for good
or bad things).

Best wishes,

Dallas

What are you trying to say, drugs has anything to do with
spiritual
advancement?! If spiritual advancement would have been dependent
on
chemicals, it wasn't worthy the efforts. Etzion
