Re: Theos-World Existence of the master adepts

Art:
| I would have to say Nick, that the existence of the Masters is a
shadowy
| proposition at best... the number of those who claim to be in touch
with
| them have ranged from HPB, Judge, their associates to the Baileys,
Madame
| Roerich. and many current channellings which call into question the
whole
| lot and put disrepute on the process...
Ah, channelling -- that is why I mentioned "physical" existence of
HPB's flesh & bones gurus. Thanks to decades of channelled nonsense
from foolish astral denizens masquerading as "Masters", HPB's gurus
are lumped in with these cloying cyphers. So I gather you have not
looked at the testimony of those real people (not HPB or Olcott) who
met, talked to or saw in the flesh the gurus of Blavatsky? Too bad --
Caldwell's site, Blavatsky Archives, has much factual matter.
| I am really in amazement there is such a reaction to the idea that
the real
| Masters have been living among us all these years and so much of
your time
| and energy you have devoted to these shadowy beings like Morya,
Kuthumi and
| company, so called Masters which you embrace... ah well! You are for
them
| and to them do you belong!
Unwarranted assumption, laddie; that I (or we) are only devoted to
Theosophy's "shadowy beings" . I have a been card carrying Buddhist
for 20 years and Vajrapani, Manjushri & Avalokiteshwara (for example)
can be BOTH "shadows" and incarnate in certain people. I am "for"
each and every real Adept or Guru I know of -- and Aurobindo is on my
list too. But you do need to take a closer (or a first) look at the
evidence -- and if you still think HPB's M & KH are non-physical wisps
of imagination -- then so be it.
Best,
Nicholas
