The New World Order

I am a life member of the Theosophical Society (Adyar). I was active
in the Seattle Lodge for a few years, but haven't been for a while. I
recently saw a video that characterized the society as promoting, if
not initiating, the idea for the New World Order. Is this true? Can
what was written at
http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/externalisation/exte1080.html
be regarded as the "founding documents" for the New World Order? The
video is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbEgvx1qelw. Years ago, I
saw a video of a talk by Stanley Monteith, who had similar ideas,
closely associating the society with Nazism. Is it possible that the
idea of the New World Order as expressed by Alice Bailey has been
corrupted into a push for tyranny or do people object to it as it is?

Much of what D. K. says seems to assume, or at least hope, that the
New World Order will come into being soon after World War 2. Did
things happen afterwards that delayed it? Did he not anticipate the
Cold War?
