Re: theos-talk Re: News Flash - What is going on behind the Scenes in Adyar Society

"Killing" is done when the old attaches too much to itself, so will the TS kill
itself when it runs out of new supplies. These supplies will only add when they
are taken unconditionally. This is why Krishnamurti couldn't fullfill his
"being" a worldteacher for the TS and wisely went on his own. Unless the TS
dramatically changes course, it will simply die... Before this happens the best
ideas and people will be "extracted" to fit into a new body, made by the peoples
of today. This could be called a synthesis of the old and from there "theosophy"
will carry on, however Its body could have a different name, as has happened so
many times in the past...

Humanity is at the crossroads of killing itself as well, not as a whole but old
forms are about to die... New impulses are already seen and found in the
youngsters of today and they are the future.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Personally I'm not that convinced though that the TS is in a position to expect
a new dawn in this vehicle. Or more plainly: is this winter, or is this disease
that kills? Is the vehicle developed in the 19th and early 20th century still
fit for what humanity needs in the 21st? And if it isn't, can and will it be
changed to fit humanity as it is now?

I really don't know - however, here's my latest:
