Adyar Elevated Expressway - Ministry of Environment Turns down

The Ministry of Environment and Forest of the Government of India
has refused clearance for the elevated expressway from Chennai Port to
Maduravoyal proposed by the Chennai Port Trust.
The proposed route of the expressway would go through the Adyar Beach. You
