The only folks who get weird about personality in Theosophy are in the ULT and we all know that no one knows who they are as they all used assumed names drawn from a hat and meet wearing hooded robes.
The rest of us have lived too long to worry about it.

I am aware that there are instructions on this website to ignore Preethi's comments...But I cannot seem to miss the opportunity to point out the whole problem that is assailing the TS today. The personal approach is encouraged when certain members are boosting their egos, but that very same approach is condemned when the personality is discussed vis-a-vis the future of the TS.

It's at the very least a branding thing: keeping the name you were known
to have started out your career with just helps avoid confusion. My mother
changed her professional name back to her maiden name, without divorcing my
father, a few years ago. I think out of feminist ideals. Personally I would
not think of changing my name on marriage.
I've since been informed that this is a VERY Dutch perspective, not
relevant for Brazil.
I'm 35 - is that young even on an online site like this one?
