Lol! Joe Fultons surprise lol! It is because the original referred to sect in Bhutan that was spelled otherwise "Drug-pa" this referred to a Bhutan Buddhist Sect that was not Gelug and therefore open game for derision (this is the "other definition" that escaped definition in a recetn definition here in this forum lol! the other sceond usage being any native person of Bhutan. Dugpa is a distortion of the original.
