Mary Anderson was the International Secretary of TS Adyar, at a most
critical period when a group of GC members tried to defeat the sitting
President Radha Burnier under the ruse that she is mentally and physically
sick and even after three physicians from two continents gave their
professional conclusion that Radha Burnier was fit both mentally and
physically. We do not yet know what role Mary Anderson played in the move to
defeat Radha Burnier. Even after the physiciansâ reports were made public,
the group of GC members continued their push to defeat Radha Burnier.

It is a sad situation when long time, learned scholars, and theosophical
leaders did not come out and shout that the emperor has no clothes, and we
do not know why. It is possible that anyone, who having seen what is going
on, and called a spade a spade, may have to face retaliation of being
marginalized. It is a pity we see this disconnect between erudition in
theosophical writings and having the courage to speak up when one cannot
keep quiet in the sidelines. What has happened would be a practical
eyeopener for all theosophists in the future since with Internet, future
generation would be able to read what went on in 2008 & 2009.
