   Many of these new digital online resources and product sites have a "Hit Counter" usually at the bottom of the page. Some show hundreds of thousands of viewers that came and read some or all of the website. This is vastly superior to printing the same number of physical issues and circulating them to readers and the cost savings are immense.

I just saw a news report that Atlantic Records announced that its digital
distribution is over 50% of the total sales. The key word of one of the
heads of music producers is that they are trading digital pennies for analog
dollars. Many of them have drastically cutback the marketing and promotional
expenses.

The move to digital media is going to affect TPH and I do not know if those
responsible are still asleep at the wheel just like TS not moving quickly to
make better use of modern technology. I personally know of one well known
theosophist leader refusing to use email for official correspondence 10
years ago when all of us were using email for correspondence. Of course this
individual was using the resources of the organization to print and mail
correspondence perhaps was using email for the all other behind the scenes
maneuverings and politickings.

I hope and pray that TS wakes up before the Juggernaut runs over.
