Dear Ramadoss,

Thank you for your concern for the T.S. Your views are welcome as any other view against or in favor of any current controversy. The e-mail below just prove once more how danger would be if the members of the T.S. were disfranchised. Every T.S. member is important and should be treated with respect. Even if sometimes acting under the pressure caused by controversial issues may say or write words that may hurt, or seems deprived of logic. 

The real fact is Ramadoss you do have all the right to see the proposal as secret one. For indeed it was. As the General Secretary of your own Section did not send a letter to you  and all the members of your Section inquiring if they would agree with the amendment proposal. You are feeling betrayed and indeed you were. As a good standing member you as any other member has the full right to be informed about such relevant issues, before any further step is taken.

Furthermore blogs, web-sites discussions groups are not made to GC members. They are organized to all members of the T.S. I am sure whoever has a blog or site do not care if any GC member ever visited it or not. Having a chair do not make anyone more important than a member of the T.S. The T.S. is nothing without its members. The blog I organized in the first week had one thousand visits. A month after is reaching almost the number of 3 thousand visits. So other blogs. Katinka is doing a great job with her blog, also Anton with his web-site.

MKR talks a load of rubbish and should know better. He probably took a leading part in the "Reds under the bed" uproars of not so long ago. It is time to get real and deal with facts and not manufacture fiction.

It is not surprising that responsible GC members do not bother responding, in fact most probably never even look at BLOG sites.
