What did it mean when Mr. Leadbeater says "there was no fraud"?
>From references brought earlier, certain points become clear about how
so called Mahatma Letters came into existence. I am listing them here
so that further analysis will have base of those facts. 
According to Blavatsky 
1) Most of the letters were not written by Masters' hands. 
2) Letters were not dictated verbatim. That means every word of
letters was not chosen by Masters.
3) Letters depended on chela's development and capacity to understand
(Mahatma's thoughts).

For further analysis we need to remember these things which Blavatsky
told about how letters were written.
Next important question is who materialized Mahatma Letters. We know
from writings of concerned people that many letters appeared from
nowhere. That means they were brought into existence by occult powers.
For the time being we will assume that they were materialized by
occult powers and not written by hand by someone on paper and pushed
before people using some cheap trick. 
Here important question is who materialized Mahatma Letters using
occult powers. If Masters had materialized Mahatma Letters, they will
most probably use their own words making letters verbatim and
independent of chela's development. 
But from Blavatsky writing we know that letters were not verbatim and
they depended on chela's development. That means there were some
chelas who materialized Mahatma Letters, and Mahatmas did not
materialize letters. 
Next question is who were the chelas who materialized those letters.
Most letters had connection with Blavatsky and she was mainly
concerned about letters and she was a chela. That means Blavatsky
materialized those letters either in her close physical proximity or
at distant place from her. Other chelas like Subba Rao did not have
much interest in Mahatma Letters and letters were not so much
connected with them or their work. The Letters were strongly connected
with Blavatsky and her work. These things suggest strongest
possibility that it was Blavatsky who materialized so called Mahatma
Letters. 
Another question is what did Mr. Leadbeater mean when he said "there
was no fraud" As I understand, he meant these words in only limited
sense. What he meant was letters were not written by hand and pushed
before people using a trick, but they were actually materialized using
occult powers. Only in this limited sense Mr. Leadbeater said "there
was no fraud".
