MKR,

No, I haven't any of the tapes we made, I wasn't the Producer in these particular shoots, it was our Production Supervisor am very nice person of Hindu descent who when he in Australia he was a Manager for the Audio Systems of the big Stadium in Sidney. And I haven't been associated with the Station since 1999.
Years ago in the 1970s I went to a Hindu Festival held on Santa Monica Beach and while there I had the immense pleasure to see another Classical Dance Master dance there. The portrayal had mixed genders in the story and when he danced the left side was one gender and the right side was the opposite gender. The face itself maintained the independent and appropriate expressions of each gender, the woman and the man each on their own side of the face in it's visible expressions simultaneously. Likewise the dance posturing was also maintained male and female. It is a most remarkable ability to perform such a deep demanding discipline and Art Form, I was very deeply impressed by the performance. There is nothing comparable in the West.

Regards,
John

Hi
Are any of the tapes still available?
She was the first student of Rukmini Arundale who revived the classical
dance.
BTW, I picked up a new video tape of the movie The River some years ago.
