Some one who has access to a good library which has the Theosophist may be
able to locate the numbers.

As I had mentioned in another message, since the membership seems to be
a function of how active the local lodges are and how the national
organization in the country and its leaders gets involved with the local
lodges, it would be worthwhile to study how the activities are organized and
conducted which resulted in a significant increase in membership in India
during the above period.
