Yes, and it is amply evident that membership in these organizations does nothing for their spiritual evolution, for their egos remain great and their deeds promulgated world wide. Isn't that the reason that 1st, they want the power positions, and 2nd, will not give them up, except to death?

Co-freemasonry, the Liberal Catholic Church, and the T.O.S., and the Esoteric School are all independent and autonomous organizations from the Theosophical Society. They all have a parallel history with the Theosophical Society. Only the Esoteric School draws from exclusively from the membership of the theosophical society. I do not see that being or not being a member of the E.S. should in any way prevent an individual from holding any office, elected or appointed within the organization. The E.S. is an elective decision a member makes to be more serious in their study, but is not a necessity to grow spiritually, and to hasten ones evolution. One does not become a better leader or person for that matter by joining the E.S.

Not exactly. It is not incompatible with the membership in the
Theosophical Society but should be incompatible with the highest
offices.
But if we formulate as quoted above, it would break the principles of
freedom.

And does anybody know, is J.Algeo a member of E.S.? If not, he would
be the better choise.
