In response to John?s inquiry:

The history of the origins of the Liberal Catholic Church will, I hope, be
completed early in 2007. Unfortunately other things keep getting in the
way, and each time I begin finishing the history I find more material
which needs to be included ? for example, the whole history of A.H. Mathew
and his association with the Old Catholics has to be rewritten because the
facts were not as previous authors have claimed (and, indeed, Mathew?s
biography was somewhat different in fact to the standard version). So I
have also begun work on a biography of Mathew! If academic work and
writing didn?t occupy most of my time, I?d be able to complete more
interesting projects.
