Latest Misrepresentations?

Theos-Talk Readers:

See Mr. Carlos Aveline's latest posting
on the Algeo/Tillett HPB Letters Controversy at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/theos-talk/message/37908

In this posting, Mr. Aveline continues to make all sorts of dubious
assumptions and makes statements that simply are not accurate.

For example, Mr. Aveline writes:

=============================================================
As to the evidence mentioned by Tillett -- as I remember it -- it
includes something very simple. John Algeo simply had no time to do the
research himself, or with his "editorial committee" (to which you
belong, at least in name).
=============================================================

No time?

How does Mr. Aveline know how many total hours were actually put into
the project. Not only did Dr. Algeo work on the project but many other
people. Dr. Algeo's wife, the members of the editorial committee and
more than a dozen other individuals helped in various ways as can be
seen by reading Dr. Algeo's PREFACE.

In the first part of the project I myself probably spent several
hundred hours working on my contribution to the project.

Mr. Aveline apparently is simply talking off the top of his head about
things he knows nothing about.

I will try to deal with one or two more of Mr. Aveline's misimpressions
in the next day or so.
