In your posting at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/theos-talk/message/37907
you give one of your usual pronouncements:
==============================================================
Of course you have to say, or to suggest, that as the SPR has no
unanimous or formal self-criticism to make as to its 19th century
frauds against the theosophical movement, then "HPB might be a fraud"
after all.
==============================================================
Nope I don't say that at all. This must be a fantasy of your
own making.
I do not believe HPB was a fraud.
Concerning the part played by the SPR, I simply agree with what Mr.
Leslie Price wrote and which I quoted on this forum yesterday. I
again give below Mr. Price's words hoping that you might actually
take some time and carefully read and undertstand what he is saying:
========================================================
As one who has served twice on the SPR Council, and
who was involved in the arrangements for the publication
of Vernon's paper in JSPR April 1986, I can confirm
that the Society has NO collective view on Theosophical
phenomena....in publishing Vernon's paper, they did NOT at the
same time cancel the 1885 report - in the way that
for example, a scientific publication might withdraw
a discredited paper on human cloning. ALL the published
material - including the little known first and provisional
report of the SPR committee - remains available for study.
