Dear Jake,

I read your email and it was interesting. I hope people do not forget also 
that we the United States is the most generous nation. There are going to be 
changes but we still must maintain this country and still fight for our rights to 
our freedoms. I believe there will be many changes for us but I also believe 
there is a new form of government to be installed in the next few years and it 
wont be Democrat or Republican. We need something new. I am an Independent. I 
do not vote on the Democrat or Republican Ticket as I vote with my heart. My 
heart does not connect to either of these two. I do not know all the answers 
but I know things need to change in a whole new direction. I am a former 
Theosophist-with the paper work to install once again in the membership of the 
Theosophical Society. I am looking forward to my new membership next month. We have 
an obligation to protect the people of our country and the world at large.  I 
feel GOD would expect that of us. Not throw in the towel so to speak. I would 
not want to exist without my FREEDOMS. It would not be worth it to me.I know 
I got off the track but I feel it is urgent to express what our beliefs are 
and mine is for continued Freedom to be who we are. A great Nation. I was at 
ground Zero and it has softened my heart a little. You could hear the Spirit Of 
The People-Crying In Despair. I wish every American could go visit the site. It 
would change their views and heal their hearts even if just a little. I could 
feel the negative feelings I had drain out the bottom of my feet. It was very 
healing for me and that was on the 9th of October-2006.

Sorry I got off the beaten track. I just wish i knew what we could do for 
this country. It is up to each person to be what he wants to be. We need to take 
care of the poor but there are too many people who could be out there and 
contribute to their lives. I had a Brain Aneurysm five years ago and I am still a 
productive person. I do not expect any kind of assistance. I just do what I 
can and I pray alot to God and he has given my life direction and meaning. 
Believe me it hasn't been an easy road. But I never give up my faith and I never 
put our country down. I do not get any kind of assistance-even though I would 
qualify. I am still writing songs and poetry and I am still getting awards and 
winning contests. I believe in God in self and in my country. I wouldn't want 
to live anywhere else on earth. But I want it to be better then it is. I want 
to see the United States and every country live in peace and help the very poor 
and have good lives for everyone. I pray daily. At least two full hours a 
day. I was not directing anything at you in this letter. I was just putting down 
my thoughts. I wish you and everyone on earth love, peace and good will. I 
felt like expressing today. My dad died in January and now it is November and my 
husband is in his last days also. Plus the lady I had been taking care of died 
in October. ( I was her caregiver)

I didn't mean to take up so much time.  I love Theosophy and the discussions 
generated. My greatest wish is for World Peace. It is the first thing on my 
mind when I wake up and the last thing on my mind before I go to sleep!
