My point, though, was not Dion Fortune's opinion on homosexuality, which to me is a basically pointless discussion. 

Dion Fortune might know what she was talking about, because she was talking about occult matters. 

Her idea about CWL getting ritualistic and "lower" energies to control power does make some sense to me.
