Carlos and "it is rather OK with me."

Carlos,

You write:

> As long as people do not slander the founders, do not consciously
> sow dissent and make gossips among different groups of Blavatsky
> students, it is rather OK with me.

Well, first of all, if this is directed towards me, I do not slander
the founders. Yes, I have provided a wide array of historical texts
concerning the founders and some of those texts are negative. That
is true.

But I thought I was providing information to Theosophical students
and not to some cult of --- let us say --- orthodox "believing"
Christians who only want to hear one side of an issue or story.

I mean I have read that some of the early Christians were not
hesitant to destroy any historical document that presented
Christianity in an unfavorable light. I assume this is true.

Will Theosophists be like these early Christians and set about
destroying or at least suppressing so-call "negative" accounts of the
founders?

I believe inquirers, students, etc. should have full access to all of
this material. We are grown people --- adults. Apparently you see
it differently and that is that.

Again I have not tried to sow dissent among different groups of
Blavatsky students. But yes I do point out certain historical
records, etc. etc. and I do examine various historical claims, etc.
etc.

I notice you do the same thing with Leadbeater and The Adyar TS.
Good for you!

I would hope these Blavatsky students of the various groups that you
mention could rise above their attachments and emotions and view what
I present and give in a cool and detached manner.

Can you?

But when you end by saying "it is rather OK with me" and I assume
here you are referring to what I do or don't do, then I would say,
great but I do not arrange my life and Theosophical projects, etc.
based on what you think is ok or not ok.

Until you started writing for FOHAT some 2 years ago, I didn't even
know you existed on the planet.

Whether you approve or okay what I do or write about is immaterial
with me. Do whatever. But I will plod along as I have for the last
almost 40 years doing my Blavatsky projects, etc. and presenting
various material on Theos-Talk and on my website.

I wish we could be co-workers together because Blavatsky students are
not that many when compared to the whole population of the planet,
but if I have to agree with you in all your viewpoints or get your
okay or approval for what I think or write or do, then I'm sorry, we
will have to be on different pages.

I do think you are a sincere and serious student of Theosophy, but I
also think you have some serious misunderstandings too. But do what
you think is best. As I do what I think is best.
