  The book you bought is certainly a Brazilian edition of "Incidents in the Life of Madame Blavatsky". A most rare edition now, no doubt. 

  A good and useful book, though not perfect. I can't blame Sinnett too much for his later mistakes, as the situation then and there was terribly full of maya, as one can see studying that period. I guess those who "fail" in one lifetime usually have access to other chances later. After all, they tried! 

  Active slanderers are in a different situation.
