RADICALS EXPECT A MESSIAH

Dear Friends,
The "Washington Post", in an article signed by Jackson Diehl and reproduced today by the Brazilian newspaper "Correio Braziliense", says that Iranian president Mahmud Ahmadinejad is sponsoring a strange and radical religious belief.
It is said by radical islamists that the "12th Iman" ( a kind of Islamic Messiah ) is expected to appear in Qom, the sacred city of Iran to promote "The Final Judgement" -- in 2008.
In 2008, the explosive Pluto will get to structural sign Capricorn, the civilization sign.
Happily, important liberal religious leaders in Iran strongly oppose Ahmadinejad's warlike, nuclear vision of international affairs, and they have access to media.
On the opposite extreme, some Christians close to George Bush (and to the weapons' industries, too ) also believe in "the war of the end of the world".
Mutual opposition between these political-military groups of interest is starting to prepare a rather risky situation where coming back to a peaceful attitude becomes more and more difficult.
We can still hope things will calm down and the Christian/Muslim warlords will be politically defeated in their own countries.
Occultly, they have more in common than otherwise, in spite of the rhetoric.
Best regards, Carlos.
