The Next Root Race

OK, I KNOW I can look this up myself, but I'm being lazy.
I recall that there is something in THE SECRET DOCTRINE, THE MAHATMA
LETTERS, and/or other parts of the primary theosophical literature, that
the 5th root race will control its own evolution into the 6th root race,
or something to that effect. Does anybody know what I'm talking about,
offhand, and where to look? Thanks.
