Another example, as I tend to see it, of
a rather cult-like and rigid mentality
on the part of the orthodox
establishment: A Doctor of Science by
the name of Loic Le Ribault invented
(with help from a Professor Norbert
Duffaut of the University of Bordeaux) a
substance called "organic silica" for
the purpose of, among other things,
curing arthritis. But apparently since
they got patents for their invention,
and since the cult-like/rigid orthodox
establishment couldn't benefit from that
invention, their attempts to get
official recognition for their work was
not only ignored, but Duffaut appears to
have been poisoned to death, although
the "official" verdict was suicide
(Ribault thinks he wasn't suicidal and
in any case knew that potassium cyanide
would lead to a very painful death),
while Ribault got solitary confinement
in a French jail. In short, apparenlty
Ribault can't return to his home
country, France, because of what to me
seems like a rather cult-like and rigid
mentality on the part of the orthodox
establishment.
Much more about that story is available
by googling on Loic Le Ribault, and also
available in the current (May-June 2005)
issue of Nexus magazine.
Speculatively,
Mauri
