Perry,
Glad you like Kersey Graves work. Also another strong Motif is that of Isis
carrying the child Horus, I think Madame Blavatsky wrote a bit on the
correlations between the Celestial Virgin Mare and Jesus and Isis and Horus. Some
times I am remind of Wagner's Ring Opera where the God is cursed by his
covenants and forced to sacrifice each Hero he brings into creation, never acheiving
his purpose of creating a perfect lasting sonship of a nature vis the
corporeal reality.

>>Fundamentalist Christianity is so dependant on a historical Jesus
that it can't embrace the idea of the Cosmic Christ otherwise the
whole idea of vicarious atonement falls flat on its face.<<

Pretty much all things are that way due to the heavy existantial investment
by the individual and orgnizations created by individuals that are taxed to
the extreme to release from that investment of thoughts, idea's, agreements,
considerations and personal bondages entered into by the being itself as may be
the case, even samsara is a dictate of vicarious atonement of karma acheiving
the appearancy of something recompensd in the void of sunyat.

I haven't read Tom Harpur so am not cue'd on his points you mention, what
stimulates you in this regard?

I would enjoy Mel Gibson making a authentically true Movie version that
strictly presents the Pistis Sophia contents and the three sister work of it
together some day, that would really be a blast!

John
