Erica:
The email message seems to have come from Saudi. That doesn't mean, though,
that even if we were able to identify the email account and user on that
Internet provider that we would find the person that sent the message.
Hackers could break into the accounts of other people, then use those
accounts to send out messages. In that case, the email account that the
messages came from don't identify the bad person, only another victim of the
hacker.
The best thing to do is to is change your password to something long, not
easy for someone to guess, and let it go. That's what I've done when I see
forged email messages.
Regarding email, I forward my personal email accounts to my Yahoo mailbox,
use it to filter out most of the spam that I would otherwise get, and then
my email program reads the already-filtered messages from Yahoo. Counting
all the miscellaneous messages sent to several domain names, there are
perhaps 10,000 to 12,000 messages a week that it filters out and I don't
have to look at.
