This chat room accumulates about 30-50 messages a day--more than I have time to read. I don't mind the Theosophical subject matter discussed in a constructive way, whether it is historical; current events in the Organizations, e.g. the Blavatsky Letters; controversies; commentaries on the literature;-- or, what I would prefer to see--discussions about living sharing and promulgating Theosophy. On the other hand, I would rather not have to wade through silly quipping; long posts reprinting easily available articles; or unconstructive and directionless diatribes for or against leaders or teachings. Let's strive to make this a place to be helpful to each other--to help people with what they are seeking--not to force on others what we might fancy they need. Just my two cents worth. Thanks. --j

When I made my subscription on this yahoo-group I thought it would be centred on theosophical subjects. During the last weeks this list it’s been full of non-theosophical matters, according to my point of view. I still don’t understand what we can benefit from so many ridiculous messages send by some of the participants on this list. Why the moderator is not putting an end in so much “empty talks” (in a theosophical perspective)? Why so many participants of this list don’t have anything more to say than just rubbish? By the way, we will continue to talk over and over again on the same topics – “the Leadbeater affair”, “the Judge case”, “the so call Successions”; “the Adyar versus ULT”, etc., etc., etc.? – If we what to defend someone unjustly attacked it´s better, for example, to pay attention on what is happening whit the publication of the so call “Letters of H.P. Blavatsky”, conduted by John Algeo. Your beloved HPB is under fire! Well, and what about the study of Theosophy? For
example, I appreciate very much the contributions of brother Dallas TenBroeck, Danniel Caldwell, and many other, because, most of the time they try to discuss Theosophy (as presented by HPB and the Masters – remember Geotfrey Memorandum).
When we want to say whatever comes to your mind we go to some chat room onthe web, but if we what to discuss real Theosophy then we should be more responsible on every word we send to the list.
