He claimed he could see atoms clairvoyantly and draw pictures of 
them. This is an excellent claim inasmuch as it can easily be put to 
the test. However, according to Williams in her biography of Besant, 
he refused to analyze the simplest chemical compounds clairvoyantly 
and put his claims to the test. Whether he was right or wrong about 
psychic vision this seems to indicate serious bad faith on his part. 
What is disturbing is that bad faith and bad guessing are a pervasive 
pattern in everything he wrote.
