Hi Paul
If I can remember, " Masters and the Path " contained those explanations on the World Teacher, a Reincarnation/Tulku on Maitreya and it was removed.
If I am not wrong I remember the book "saved by a spirit" CWL also had smentioned about his partenthood, his young brother in the period they came to South America at a railroad construction stage, where a military/guerilla headed by Gen.Martinez took place and killed the boy. From this book I heard some parts were also removed.
I read it years ago and the book is not here anymore.

Hi Perry,
Google was not much help on this but I did find:

The Inner Life definitely has the loony Mars material deleted. But
I recall at least one more title by CWL being discussed in the past
on theos-l or theos-talk, maybe Masters and the Path, as an example
of editorial dishonesty. Perhaps someone else here has a better
memory than mine. Leslie Price discussed TPH editorial practices
from a critical POV in an early number of Theosophical History.
