Yes, I see. I did mention this incident in Holland
rather to describe the typical behaviour of Adyar
authorities when confronted with self-thinking or
investigating people. BTW, Dr. de Purucker's
policy was just the opposite to it. He invited
researchers and opened the doors, even to harsh
critics like Mr. Stokes.
In Germany we have the saying that someone who
hides somethings has reason to hide it.

relating to the Leadbeater controversy, those
undertaking them will have
expended effort unnecessarily.
All the correspondence was published by Mead and
others in various
pamphlets. Copies of these exist in a number of
public non-TS collections
(e.g. the British Library in London). A number of
them have been
published on the net (alas, I do not recall the
web site but seem to
recall that it was one operated by Alan Bain).
