Anand versus Koot Hoomi on H.P. Blavatsky's books

Sep 27, 2004 07:45 PM
by Daniel H. Caldwell

Anand recently wrote that H.P. Blavatsky

". . . made many such mistakes in writing and
so I don't recommend her books."

Compare Anand's comment with what
Master Koot Hoomi wrote about THE
SECRET DOCTRINE:

"[THE SECRET DOCTRINE is] . . . an epitome
of occult truths that will make it a source
of information and instruction for the earnest
student for long years to come. . . ."

Furthermore, Master K.H wrote:

"Be assured that [in THE SECRET DOCTRINE]
what she [HPB] has not annotated from scientific
and other works, we have given or suggested
to her. Every mistake or erroneous notion,
corrected and explained by her from the works
of other theosophists was corrected by me, or
under my instruction."

Too bad that Anand wasn't around in the 1880s
to help HPB and Koot Hoomi get rid of all those
"mistakes"!
