You are speaking about the show " crossing over with John Edward " and it
can usually be seen on the Sci Fi channel after 11 pm EST . 

I think there are several interesting issues here . First is to observe
just how desperate people are to contact the other side . Next I have no
doubt that John Edward may have some psychic ability , but the show suffers
from a major credibility gap . Several expose' s have been done about his
show , outlining how the audience line is questioned in advanced with spies
who collect personal information . Then Mr Edward uses this information
during the show .

Since the expose' I have seen less of John Edward on TV . 

I Think the most interesting item is the strong innate desire people have
to contact the dead . History is full of stories of fraud and deception
during séance 's . My general opinion about this is that there are valid
instances of contacting the dead , but these are occult and are kept quite .
