To accept karma or periodicity without knowing the reasons behind their laws,
is like having blind faith in both a personal god and a literal
interpretation of scripture, or believing everything we experience on the physical plane is
the only true reality.
But, there are "reasons" why karma IS inherently related to the "law of
periodicity"... And, why such law IS the fundamental basis of all existence.
(The following for the benefit of those prospective gnana yogins, or students
of theosophy who have not yet delved into and correlated the deeper levels of
theosophical metaphysics. :-)
Logical deduction and reasoned extrapolation based on first principles (i.e.,
the origin of everything out of the "abstract motion" of Absolute Space)
makes it evident that "cycles" and their inherent law of periodicity are the bases
of all cause->effect (effect being the cause of subsequent effects)
action->reaction, etc. Therefore, Karma -- meaning "action" in an individual sense --
is the personalized expression of these laws. "As you sow, so shall you
reap."
This obvious rational conclusion is based on the following premises:
"Abstract motion," as the unconditioned basis of all subsequent conditioned
forces or energies in the universe, can only be imagined as dimensionless
circular spin (angular momentum on infinite axes at infinite velocities) of the
initially stationary zero-point of Absolute Space -- which must always exist in
"essence" as the "noumena" of all "phenomena." ("Nothing comes from nothing"
and, "All phenomena is dependently arisen" -- Buddha)
This angular momentum, or "spinergy" -- which is the basis of the infinite
Primal Force underlying all subsequent finite forces, energies, vibrational
patterns of forms, radiation's, etc. -- is cyclic in its inherent nature. And, is
why the Universe can be considered as being "electrical" in nature... i.e.,
All phenomena on any plane of existence follow laws analogous to the
fundamental laws of electricity -- which are dependent upon the underlying laws of
cycles and periodicity.
Upon initial manifestation, any emanated ray of such primal spin-motional
force -- representing the noumenal substance (matter) of all subsequent "fields"
of consciousness from the spiritual to the physical -- must, therefore, follow
an endless and beginningless vortical spiral path that is in the form of a
circular (subsequently globalar) field surrounding two inner circular
(subsequently globalar) fields ... The initial "primal zero-point" being their absolute
center of "gravity" that, as a dual force of attraction and repulsion in
perfect balance prior to such manifestation, always remains changeless in itself.
As Krishna says, "I form this whole Universe out of one small portion of
myself and yet remain separate" (undiminished, unchanging, unmoved, etc.)
Note that, when fully formed, the triple monadic field -- like twin bubbles
within a surrounding bubble -- forms two additional zero-points at their outer
crossover points of tangency. To be fully formed as a continually repeating
self generated globular field, each such monadic field requires three cycles
for each circuit of its spirally winding ray. Incidentally, all cycles, to
complete and repeat their path -- as illustrated by a linear sine wave diagram
-- cross through the zero-point at their neutral, and maximum positive and
negative phase, three times.
Thus, the initial triune (monadic) globular form is the basis of all
subsequent monads that cyclically involve within it -- stepping down through a
spiraling Fibonacci series of fractal divisions (i.e., each inner field divides in
two, so as to form subsequent triune monads nested within each other, like
Chinese boxes -- as the universe continues to involve in three iterations to
complete the first spiritual logos composed of 14 inner fields (within fields within
fields) within the initial surrounding field (Mahatma). These fields can be
broken down in groups of three, four, eight (with seven chakra or crossover
zero-points), etc. For a complete symbolic representation of this initial
universal field involution, see:
http://users.aol.com/uniwldarts/uniworld.artisans.guild/chakrafield.html
(This diagram follows the occult formula of Cosmogenesis in the Book of
Dzyan, "The three, the one, the four, the one, the five, the twice seven, the sum
total.") For further symbolic geometric visualizations of such involutions,
see:
http://users.aol.com/leonmaurer/Invlutionfldmirror2.gif
This dual reflection of the initial zero-point center of any triune monadic
field, repeated fractally ad infinitum, and always coadunate but not
consubstantial in each octave of such involution's, accounts for the occult statement
that "the center of the universe is everywhere and its circumference nowhere."
Therefore, we can easily see that cycles and periodicity govern all the
actions-reactions and causes-effects in the universe, and, therefore, must be the
fundamental basis of the immutable law of karma that acts analogously
throughout all fields of consciousness -- from the spiritual to the physical -- on any
level of macrocosmic or microcosmic evolution. This, being the basis of the
Hermetic law, "As above, so below" and the common expression, "What goes
around, comes around.")
It follows that even the highest Dhyan Chohans on the spiritual planes, along
with the smallest quantum particle on the physical planes cannot abrogate
these cyclic laws, and are subject to their immutable action-reaction or
cause-effect through each cycle of universal manifestation (Manvantara).
