There may be a Yahweh in mythology. Maybe we'll live to see him 
starring in his own action series, like Hercules. However, "Hashem" 
is not a name, but a pseudonym for YHVH, that the Jews use in their 
prayer books. "Ha-Shem" means simply, "The Name." I have no problem 
with that. Remember the "Baal Hashem" of Chaddidism? It 
meant "Master (Baal) of the Good Name." "Shem" is Aramaic/Hebrew 
for "Name."
