It sounds like somebody does not know the difference between torture
and sacrifice. When I did biomed research we put the animals under
anesthesia, operated on them, or removed organs to use. Then we
sacrificed them....that is killed them in a swift manner. I did not
do the killing or sacrificing, but the phd I worked with always did
cervical dislocation on small animals to kill them.
If they are not dead after these rituals--black magic probably--then
they are merely torturing them and there should be a law against
cruely to animals that this could fall into that would include
penalties for torture such as those found in the USA. Don't know,
just wondering.
