That's fair enough. After all, the document in question is clearly
identified as being only "excepts" from the meeting. Since she herself
confirmed the accuracy of the relevant parts of the edited document in
the Frontline interview, it is still easy for me to see how Saddam would
have taken her replies as a "green light" to invade. Since her own
notes of the conversation remain classified, we may never know what the
"distortions" are. --jhe
