Yes, but the ancient truths and their relationship to our inner being and its
self development haven't changed, nor has the evil that men do in violation
of its principles.

And neither has the pseudo theosophical books of AAB met these problems in
any satisfactory manner -- although there may be some useful ideas with relation
to occultism that could be culled out of some of it -- if taken in context
with all the ideas and interpretations presented by all the other literature on
the subject written by innumerable Masters and Adepts of one school or
another.

It should be born in mind that while times and conditions have changed
continuously over the ages, the basis of theosophy and the mysteries of universal
origins and its analogous relationship to our individual evolution and spiritual
development haven't changed in the slightest degree. Its also a basic
violation of the fundamental principles to use theosophy as the basis of a political
movement. Universal Brotherhood cannot come about by dictatorial means. In
this respect, the AAB groups have no business being involved with the United
Nations, or in government of any sort.

We also have to recognize that history has a tendency to repeat itself. And,
if this current era or age is a repeat of the age of the degenerate and
dictatorial Roman Empire of the Pagan Caesar's (although, ostensibly a Republic) --
it seems that AAB's garbled interpretation of theosophy, and its new Christ
in the flesh representing a hierarchy of "descended Masters," could very well
be leading to the same conditions that brought about the divisive and bloody
age of the dictatorial Holy Roman Empire of the Christian Pope's (although, this
time around, clothed in the garb of a hierarchically controlled pseudo
democracy).

The present oligarchy in America, representing the "Christian majority" and
the powers of the Military Industrial Complex controlled by a small group of
them with extraordinary powers to control the mass media and the electoral vote,
is a perfect example of where AAB's direction of thinking can lead the world.

Although I disagree with AAB's political, governmental and religious views
based on a garbled mysticism coupled with a living returned messiah to lead the
world out of its misery by dictatorial fiat -- along with organized group
prayer that caters specifically to a Christian audience -- I have no argument with
its ultimate aims to bring about a peaceful and cooperative world based on
good will and Universal Brotherhood. Its the means for going about it, and the
falsely magical occultism leading to the personification of the Hierarchy and
its "descended Masters" behind it that I find wanting. In that sense, I think
Cleather and Crump hit the nail right on the head.

Best wishes,

Leon
